Furniture Repair Bank is a nonprofit effort that rescues worn, torn, and broken furniture from ending up in the landfill, restores its value and beauty, and provides it to people in need. Join our community of empathic, creative, and handy individuals! We occasionally conduct furniture collection events in neighboring cities.
This will be our third annual collection in partnership with the city of Renton. All furniture collected at this event will be pre-approved donations. Our team will be located in the parking lot of Renton Technical College to collect the items, then our truck will arrive toward the end of the shift to load everything up to go back to our workshop.
Please dress for the weather as this is an activity that takes place primarily outdoors.
